Moab In May - 2 Slots Left


A bike-focused camp to jump start your fitness.

I've done this trip a few times with private clients and in 2010 we are going to offer it as a formal camp.

Camp starts May 3rd with athletes arriving/departing from Grand Junction, CO.

Camp Outline
May 3rd -- Arrival, Evening Run Fruita
May 4th -- Swim and Grand Mesa Ride (snow pack depending!);
May 5th -- Douglas Pass;
May 6th -- Colorado Monument Ride, Swim Grand Junction, Run Fruita -- Transfer to Moab, Evening Ride Arches National Park
May 7th -- La Sal Mtn Loop, Evening Canyon Run
May 8th -- Islands in The Sky, Evening Canyon Run
May 9th -- "The Wall" Hill Climb - transfer to Grand Junction

The price of $1,375 includes:
***Travel/transfers once you arrive in Grand Junction

We will have a welcome dinner on May 3rd in Grand Junction to kick off the camp. If possible then book your flight out of Grand Junction for the afternoon of May 9th as this will help us with transfers. The drive between the two cities is about two hours.

May is peak season in Moab and the weather is typically fantastic. We have a mix of flat and climbing rides lines up. Bring your climbing gears. If you have a choice of bikes then your road bike is recommended. Although I have done similar climbs on a TT bike, I think that you'll be most comfortable with a road set up.

Colorado National Monument park requires lights front/rear on your bike. The rangers have started enforcing this requirement at park entry. The ride in the park is VERY cool. So make sure you have the lights so you meet the requirements for park entry.
